TUMU ITM Masterton Team helping to Keep New Zealand Beautiful

Posted on 19/09/2016

The entire team from TUMU ITM Masterton got involved with this years Keep New Zealand Beautiful clean up week. Armed with gloves and rubbish bags provided by the KNZB Society, the team split into groups of five and took it in turns to get out into the local parks and playgrounds to clean up an impressive amount of rubbish.    One of the team made "pick up sticks" which were long pieces of timber with a nail in the end to make it faster to collect small pieces of rubbish and to pull rubbish out of the waterways.

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and was not only a  fantastic opportunity to give back to the community who support us but a great team building experience.

Good on you TUMU Masterton!
